Why was I charged more than expected at the venue?
This is about what the venue charged you on the day — not your Timeleft subscription. The most common reasons are:
- A service charge or cover fee was added to the bill that wasn't obvious upfront.
- A tablemate left without paying their full share, so the remaining amount was split among the rest.
- The venue's prices were higher than the budget tier you booked.
What can I do at the venue?
Ask staff to itemise the bill before paying so you can see exactly what's included. If the group is splitting, agree on the split before anyone leaves — it avoids surprises at the end.
How do I report an unexpected charge?
Contact support and include:
- The event date, city, and venue name
- What you were charged
- What you expected to pay
- A photo of the receipt if possible
