Why didn't my event match what I expected?
A few things can make an event feel different from what you pictured. The venue assigned for a specific event type may not match your mental image — for example, a coffee meetup taking place at a cocktail bar rather than a café. Group composition also varies from event to event, and the atmosphere depends a lot on who shows up. Some variation is part of the experience, but if something felt clearly off, we want to know.
What can I do about it?
After your event, use the feedback flow in the app to rate your experience and describe what didn't match. Your feedback is reviewed by our team and used to improve venue selection and matching for each event type.
When should I contact support?
If the mismatch was significant — the venue was nothing like the event type you booked, or something went clearly wrong — contact support and include:
- The event type you booked
- The event date and city
- The venue name
- What felt different from what you expected
