If this happens during your event
- Ask venue staff for separate bills at the start of the meal, not the end
- If not possible, agree on an even group split
- Bringing cash is a good backup for situations where card splitting isn't possible
- Payment apps (Revolut, Bizum, Venmo) can also help settle on the spot
If you were left covering more than your share
