Group chats help you connect with the other guests attending your event. They open shortly before the event, giving everyone a space to coordinate, introduce themselves, and make it easier to find each other on arrival. After dinner, the chat remains available so you can keep the conversation going.
When the chat opens and how long it stays active?
Group chats help you connect with the other guests attending your dinner. They open 30 minutes before the event, giving everyone time to coordinate, introduce themselves, and find each other more easily on arrival. The chat remains available after the event so you can keep the conversation going.
Who's in the chat?
This includes everyone registered at that time, whether their attendance is confirmed or unconfirmed. Attendees who cancel or reschedule after the chat is created are automatically removed.
Can you mute one person without leaving?
Not yet. You can mute the whole group chat, or report a specific person, which immediately blocks them from contacting you. Please note that the chat remains visible and accessible.
Can you leave the chat?
You can leave a group chat at any time by opening Group Chat Details, selecting Leave group chat, and confirming your choice. Once you leave, you’ll be redirected to the main Chat page, see a confirmation message, and the group chat will no longer appear in your chat list.
What happens to the chat after dinner?
The chat remains accessible after the event, and the event status in the information section changes to “Event passed”. Profile photos become visible when feedback becomes available, 1 hour and 30 minutes after the event starts, so that other attendees and yourself can recognise each other and keep the conversation going.
