Why did my payment fail?
A payment can fail for a few common reasons:
- Insufficient funds
- An expired card
- Your bank blocked the transaction
- Incorrect card details
What should I do if my payment failed?
Work through these in order:
- Check your payment details in the app and make sure the card and expiry are correct.
- Contact your bank to confirm they didn't block the transaction — this is one of the most common causes.
- Try a different payment method if you have one available.
Will my payment be retried automatically?
Yes. If a payment fails, it's automatically retried for up to 10 days from the first attempt. You don't need to do anything to trigger a retry, but updating your details in the meantime helps it go through.
How do I update my payment method?
Contact support and we'll send you a secure link to update your payment details.
What happens to my subscription while a payment is failing?
Your subscription stays active during the retry window. If no payment is collected by the end of it, the subscription may lapse — once a payment goes through, it resumes as normal.
