In this article, you’ll learn how to invite past dinner connections to join you at a future event. You’ll also find a step-by-step guide to the invitation process, along with helpful information abou
At Timeleft, we believe that connections don’t end after just one event. To help you deepen the friendships you make, we’re excited to introduce Timeleft Repeat—a feature that allows you to invite friends you’ve met at previous dinners to future events, making it easier to reconnect and create lasting bonds.
How to Invite a Connection to a Future Dinner with Timeleft Repeat
Open the Timeleft app and select your preferred event location and date.
Edit your preferences as needed.
Confirm your booking—you’ll then see a list of your past connections eligible for invitation.
Tick the box next to the connections you’d like to invite, then send your invitations.
Once confirmed, you’ll see on your group list in the app who has accepted your invite.
Note: Your invited connections will receive an email notification. Since tables can fill up quickly, they should accept the invite as soon as possible to secure their spot.
Possible Reasons Your Invitee Can’t Accept the Invitation
If your invited connection experiences an error when accepting, it could be due to:
They have set a different location in their account.
They already have an existing booking.
Your group table is already full.
Good to know
If the invitee is “bad matched” with someone at the table, they will be given the choice to join or not. This could be a great chance to reconnect. Sometimes, a second meeting can change first impressions.
If the host reschedules, invited guests will remain assigned to the same table, but the original host will no longer attend. Invitees will be notified of this change.
