Many first-time Timeleft users feel hesitant about attending an event alone. Our new "Bring a +1" feature is designed to help! Now you can invite a friend to join you, even if they’re not already on Timeleft. It’s a great way to make your first event feel more comfortable and familiar.

This feature is available to all Timeleft users who have booked a dinner. Not available to first-time users.
How to Use the "Bring a +1" Feature
Book an event via the Timeleft app or website.
After booking, head to the "Your group" section of the event page.
Click the "Bring a +1" option.
Copy and share your unique invitation link with your friend.
Your friend clicks the link to sign up and create a Timeleft account (or logs in if they already have one).
They accept your invitation, and a connection is created between both accounts.
Once accepted, both of you will appear in the "Your group" section.
FAQs
Is there a deadline to accept a Bring + 1 invite?
Yes. You’ll need to accept your Bring + 1 invite 48 hours prior to the event, at 11:59 PM (local time). After that, the table is finalized, and any invites accepted past the cutoff won’t go through.
Does my +1 need a Timeleft account?
Yes. Your guest must create an account (or log in to an existing one) to accept the invitation.
Is there a cost for the +1?
Yes. Your +1 must also pay for their seat, either through a single ticket or a subscription, just like any other guest.
Can I invite more than one +1?
No. Each booking allows only one +1. If you share your invite link with multiple people, only the first to accept will be confirmed.
Can my +1 invite someone too?
No. +1 guests cannot invite their +1s.
What if my +1 cancels?
If your guest cancels, it does not affect your booking. You are still encouraged to attend!
What if my +1 doesn’t respond?
If they don't confirm before the cutoff (2 days before the event at 11:59 PM), your booking proceeds without them.
How will I know if my +1 is confirmed?
You'll receive a push notification, and your +1 will appear in the "Your group" section of the homepage.
Can I invite Timeleft connections and bring a +1?
Yes, as long as your total group does not exceed 6 people.
Will others at the table know I’m bringing a +1?
No, other attendees won’t see this ahead of time. Feel free to let them know if you’d like!
Can I leave feedback for my +1?
No. Since your accounts are already connected, feedback is not required.
Can I switch to a different +1?
Yes, but only if your original +1 cancels before the booking cutoff. You can then invite someone else using a new link.
Having Trouble?
If your +1 sees an error when accepting your invite, it may be due to one of the following:
They already have a booking at that time
The group table is full
The invitation deadline has passed
If none of these apply, scroll to the bottom of this page and click "Submit a request."
