This article explains how to remove or block someone from your event if you prefer not to stay connected, including how it works and what happens next.
After your event, you’ll automatically be connected with your group in the app, so you can continue conversations and build connections beyond the experience.
If you’d prefer not to remain connected with someone at your event, you can choose to remove them as a connection directly in the app.
❌ What happens when I remove or block someone?
You will no longer be able to chat with them on the app, and the user will automatically be marked as a 'bad match' for you. This will prevent you from being assigned at the same table again at future events.
🧭 Steps to remove someone as a Connection
- Log in to your Timeleft account
- Go to the Chat tab and open Your connections
- Select the person you’d like to remove
- Tap the … (three dots) in the top right corner
- Select Remove
If you didn’t enjoy your previous group, removing or blocking certain participants can help ensure you’re not matched with them again.
We recommend using this feature sparingly. Removing or blocking too many people may limit your future matches and reduce the variety of people you meet.
