This article explains how language selection works at Timeleft dinners, including which languages are typically available.
At Timeleft dinners, the languages available are usually:
- The local language (the main language spoken in the country/region)
- English
When you book a dinner in the app, you can choose to speak one language or both.
Can I change my dinner language after booking?
No — you can only select your language preference when booking your spot in the app.
Will my table match the language I selected?
We always try to seat guests together based on the language they selected (English and/or the local language).
However, this depends on the number of participants and their preferences.
If you are local and choose English
If you're from the country where the dinner takes place and you choose English, we’ll do our best to place you at an English-speaking table.
But it can’t be guaranteed, and you may be seated at a table speaking the local language if there aren’t enough English-speaking guests.
If you don’t speak English
You will be seated at a table where the local language is spoken.
If you don’t speak the local language
You will be seated at a table where English is spoken.
