This article explains the most common reasons and what to do if the problem continues.
If you’re having trouble uploading a profile photo, the issue is usually related to file size or an incomplete upload step.
Below are the most common causes and how to fix them.
1. Check the File Size
Your image must be under 100 MB.
If the file exceeds this size, the upload may fail or not save properly.
If your image is too large, try:
- Compressing the file
- Saving it in a smaller format (such as JPG)
- Taking a new photo with lower resolution
2. Make Sure You Select “Photo Library”
After tapping the Upload button, you must select Photo Library (or your device’s equivalent option) to choose an image.
If this step is skipped, the photo will not upload.
Make sure you:
- Tap Upload
- Select Photo Library
- Choose your image
- Confirm the upload
3. Try Uploading from the Web
If the upload isn’t working in the app, you can try updating your profile photo directly from your browser:
Log in and attempt the upload again from there.
Still Not Working?
If your photo meets the size requirements and you’re still unable to upload it, the issue may be related to your account or device.
