How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Dinner Reservation

If your plans change and you need to cancel or reschedule your Timeleft dinner reservation, this article will help you understand your options and next steps. Whether you booked a single dinner or are on a subscription, here's what you need to know to avoid penalties and keep the experience smooth for everyone.


When You Can Cancel or Reschedule A Booking

You can cancel or reschedule your dinner up to 48 hours in advance with no penalties. (Note that this is not exact but a good guideline to remember as the cancellation window always closes at 11:59 PM, despite dinner time. 

  • If you purchased a single dinner ticket, you’ll receive a full refund automatically.

  • Refunds take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.

Planning ahead helps us coordinate better dinners—and keeps things fair for your fellow guests. 


Cut-Off Times by Dinner Day

Here’s a quick reference table showing the latest time to cancel or reschedule your dinner booking:

Tuesday Sunday at 11:59 PM
Wednesday Monday at 11:59 PM
Thursday Tuesday at 11:59 PM
Friday Wednesday at 11:59 PM

After these times, rescheduling is no longer available. However, you can still cancel—even at the last minute.


After the Deadline: What Happens?

For All Guests:

If you cancel after the deadline:

  • You will not receive a refund.

  • You will not be able to reschedule the same dinner.

  • However, canceling is still important! It:

    • Notifies your group so they aren’t left waiting.

    • Prevents unnecessary disruption to matching and logistics.

    • May help you avoid additional penalties for no-shows.

Skipping a dinner without canceling affects others’ experience and the group chemistry we work hard to create. 

For Subscribers:

If you're a subscriber and cancel after the cut-off time:

  • You won’t be compensated for the missed dinner.

  • But you can immediately book your next dinner—no need to wait.

  • This lets you keep enjoying your membership without delay.
