How does the matching system work?
When you sign up, you fill in a short questionnaire about your interests, personality, and preferences. The matching system uses your answers to group you with five other people it thinks you'll connect with.
Does the system guarantee I'll like my group?
No. The matching system optimises for compatibility based on your answers, but every group is different. The experience varies — that's part of what makes it interesting.
Can I choose who I'm matched with?
No. You can't select specific people or request to be grouped with someone you know. If you'd like to attend with a friend, you can bring them as a guest — they'll be seated at your table.
Can I be rematched if I don't like my group?
The matching system assigns groups before the event and doesn't reassign after the fact. If you had a specific issue with someone at your table, you can report it after the event.

Does my questionnaire affect future events?
Yes. The more events you attend, the more data the matching system has to work with. Your answers can be updated from your profile at any time.
