How do I block someone?
- Go to Connections in the app.
- Find the person you want to block.
- Tap the ••• menu and select Block User.
Blocking stops them from seeing your profile, removes the connection between you, and prevents you from being matched together at future events.
What's the difference between blocking and removing someone?
Blocking is immediate and handled by you in the app — it cuts the connection right away. Removing someone from your future groups without blocking them is something our team can set up, so you simply won't be matched with them again.
To be matched away from someone without blocking:
Contact support and include the person's name or profile details and the event where you met them (date and city).
Will the person know I blocked them?
Blocking is private. The other person isn't notified that you blocked them.
What if the person behaved in a way that felt unsafe?
Blocking protects you going forward, but if someone crossed a line, please also report it so our team can take action beyond your own account.
